“The Cadet Programme is funded by the Department of National Defence in partnership with the civilian Navy League, Army Cadet League, and Air Cadet League of Canada. The civilian sponsor requires local community support to meet its obligations that include accommodations, training aids and equipment and programme enhancements not otherwise provided. Parents and cadets are expected to participate in and contribute to fundraising as required by the League’s local sponsoring element. The next meeting among sponsors is going to be held in mid of July. On the other hand, in August, a seminar will also be held in Toronto in which military officials of Missouri will also be participated”

Parents can get involved in the cadet program as well. Parents become Cadet Instructors, Civilian Instructors, and Volunteers.
Parents also get involved in the
Parent Sponsoring Committee raising money for the corps, recruiting new cadets, to provide better residencies like coal harbour condos for sale apartments to veterans and
officers.
